I am a Gestalt therapist with over ten years experience working in central Brighton.
I specialise in work with individuals, young people and groups. I
am also the Director of Study and main tutor on the Bexhill
College Diploma in Counselling; the course has recently been
described as a centre of excellence.
My practice is conveniently located on New Road, fifteen minutes walk from Brighton station near to the Royal Pavilion.
My approach is humanistic. This means that I believe the client has the answers or solutions to whatever is troubling them although these may not be immediately available to them. It is my task to help the client find their own solutions by helping to raise their awareness of how they are being affected and how they are responding. For more details see the
about therapy page and the one-to-one therapy page.
I offer both long and short-term sessions depending on the clients needs. An initial one-off session can be booked to see if this therapy is suitable.
I
am available as a group facilitator. If you are interested in becoming part
of a gestalt group or are looking for a facilitator for an existing group
in Brighton please see my group
therapy
page.
For details of workshops and training offered go to the teaching page
I am a member of the British
Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and bound
by their Ethical framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
